Murmur @1.2.2: Does not compile
Reported by: | keybounce | Owned by: | nerdling (Jeremy Lavergne) |

Port: | murmur |
Description
I am unable to get murmur to compile.
517 sudo port install murmur 520 sudo port install murmur configure.compiler=llvm-gcc-4.2 522 sudo port install apple-gcc42 526 sudo port install murmur configure.compiler=apple-gcc-4.2 configure.cxx=g++-apple-4.2
(yes, I did cleans inbetween).
Search on term "murmur" did not show anything relevant.
NB: Despite my using apple-gcc-4.2 as the compiler, the log file still shows
:info:build /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/usr/bin/g++-4.2

I'm guessing that murmur compiles using whatever compiler qt4-mac was compiled with, and that qt4-mac was compiled with gcc-4.2 / g++-4.2. I'm not sure how that could have happened on your Lion system...
Make sure your ports are up to date:
sudo port selfupdate port outdated sudo port upgrade outdated
If qt4-mac was not among the outdated port that got rebuilt, rebuild it anyway:
sudo port -sn upgrade --force qt4-mac
Then clean murmur and try again.

I'm pretty sure that I fetch a binary for qt4-mac. I'll do that updating right now.

keybounceMBP:bin michael$ sudo port selfupdate Password: ---> Updating MacPorts base sources using rsync MacPorts base version 2.1.1 installed, MacPorts base version 2.1.1 downloaded. ---> Updating the ports tree ---> MacPorts base is already the latest version
The ports tree has been updated. To upgrade your installed ports, you should run
port upgrade outdated
keybounceMBP:bin michael$ port outdated No installed ports are outdated. keybounceMBP:bin michael$
So far, so good

Nope, fetch failed.
Lots of 404's, a 550, and general low speed when it was found.
