Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))
I am trying to install Aircrack-NG, but the command is not working in Terminal. I note, I did this on my other computer, configured the same, two weeks ago, and all went fine. Nothing different on this laptop, but I get that error.
What I get is:
Warning: No index(es) found! Have you synced your source indexes? Error: Port aircrack-ng not found To report a bug, see <http://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets>
I am using Mac OS X 10.4.11, on a G4 PPC Mac (one a tower -- that one works. The other a laptop, doesn't work). The only difference between my two machines is that the tower uses an internal Airport card to connect to the Internet via WiFi, and my laptop does not have one, I use a USB WiFi dongle on that. But both are connected to the Internet.
I have done all the same on both machines. Installed X11, installed Xcode v. 2.5, installed Macports v.2.0.3 for 10.4 Tiger.
In Terminal, I used the command line of:
sudo port install aircrack-ng
But all I can get is that message above.
I will add, I checked the Aircrack-NG Website, and it seems to be running fine.
What is the problem? Is it perhaps because I am using a USB WiFi dongle? If so, what do I have to do?

Replying to me2you1004@…:
You need to sync your source indexes, and while you're at it, update to MacPorts 2.1.1. Do both by running "
sudo port selfupdate
" twice.
