MacBook-Pro-Alexandr:~ noon-ehos$ sudo port install subversion-javahlbindings +no_bdb+universal Error: Cannot install subversion-javahlbindings for the arch(s) 'i386 x86_64' because Error: its dependency expat is only installed for the arch 'x86_64' Error: and does not have a universal variant. Error: Unable to execute port: architecture mismatch
AND without params:
MacBook-Pro-Alexandr:~ noon-ehos$ sudo port install subversion-javahlbindings Password: Error: Requested variants "" do not match original selection "+no_bdb+universal". Please use the same variants again, perform 'port clean subversion-javahlbindings' or specify the force option (-f). To report a bug, follow the instructions in the guide:

If you want +universal, you need to install expat with +universal, if +universal expat isn't available, then you can't install with +universal.
For your second error, you just have to follow the instructions printed for you (run port clean subversion-javahlbindings and then try again)

(It's probably also worth noting that I have expat installed on 10.8 with +universal...)
