Description
attempts to download texi2html-5.0_0.darwin_12.noarch.tbz2 from http://packages.macports.org/texi2html
this file doesn't exist, only texi2html-5.0_0.darwin_11.noarch.tbz2 and texi2html-5.0_0.darwin_10.noarch.tbz2. I just upgraded my machine to Mountain Lion, I assume that's causing the problem

Summary: | texi2html @5.0 Checksum mismatch OS X 10.8 → texi2html @5.0 Checksum mismatch |
The actual problem is that one of the distfile locations for this port is http://mirror.cinquix.com/pub/savannah/texi2html/texi2html-5.0.tar.bz2, and that domain name appears to have expired, been taken over by a domain name squatter, or undergone some other catastrophe such that all URLs at the domain name, including the one for the distfile we're trying to download, return a useless HTML file.
The solution is to remove URLs using this domain name from MacPorts. Done in r96068.
Wait 30 minutes, then "sudo port clean --all texi2html" and "sudo port selfupdate" and then try installing the port again.
