Description
maven1 development stopped in 2007, the port does have the latest version so livecheck is irrelevant, also livecheck no longer works.
I've added myself as maintainer as I'm unsure if the existing maintainer is still active, if they are ignore that part of the patch.

I've email jendave directly to see if she still wants to maintain the port
ryandesign, can I assume that if no response in a few weeks then I can be added as a maintainer along with openmaintainer? And the patch accepted?
