Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))
building xercesj on mountain lion gives the following result:
org.macports.build for port xercesj returned: command execution failed
The log file (attached) makes this issue look a lot like this one to my untrained eye: #35786, so hopefully it will be possible to leverage that fix.

patch to portfile that I think fixes the problem
comment:2 follow-up: 3 Changed 12 years ago by vikingjs@…
Attached is a patch to the portfile that as far as I can tell fixes the problem. I am not confident enough in my understanding of portfiles to apply the patch myself, so I'm hoping someone can take a look. My interpretation of the docs is that I did not need to include a revision number, but I'm unsure about that.

And now that I have reread the manual I see that I couldn't have committed it anyway. Anyway, hope this helps.
