Replying to ryandesign@…:
This was not a clean build attempt (the log contains lines that say "Skipping completed"). Please "sudo port clean ghostscript" and try again.
If you still get the same error in the new log—that is:
strip: object: /opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_print_ghostscript/ghostscript/work/destroot/opt/local/bin/gsc malformed object (unknown load command 9)then we'll need to look into your
strip
command and see why it cannot understand load command 9. Perhaps you've inadvertently replaced Xcode'sstrip
command with a much older version.
Thanks. However,
---> Staging ghostscript into destroot Error: org.macports.destroot for port ghostscript returned: command execution failed
not solved.
Enclosed: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_print_ghostscript/ghostscript/main.log

You don't appear to have the Xcode Command Line Tools installed. Please install them, and then clean ghostscript again before trying the install.
