Description
Hello
I use Xcode 4.4.1 and OS X 10.8.1 Mountain Lion. I use a Mac mini Mid 2011 - Core i5 - 8GB - Intel HD Graphics 3000.
I was comipiling and installing the ports of Gimp via the terminal. When Macports finished to install the port or dependence "jpeg", it began to install the dependence "jasper", but it got an error, see:

Please try a clean install:
$ sudo port clean gimp $ sudo port -d install gimp
If it fails attach the log file.
In the future please note that there is no need to cc yourself if you create a ticket. And please leave priority untouched, it's reserved for macports developers. If you fill in keywords please stick to DraftKeywordGuidelines. And don't forget to cc the maintainer. Thanks.

Thank you for the answer. When I finish to compile two apps, I'll clean the port.

Summary: | Port Jasper Error - Gimp 2.8 - Macports 2.1.2 → Jasper @1.900.1 fetch failure |
The file is definitely there on the mirrors, so I can only guess you have network issues. Closing since there doesn't appear to be a bug in the port.
If you need help diagnosing the problem further, put the main.log contents on a pastebin service and ask on IRC or the macports-users list.

Hi,
I have been to the IRC chat, but it seemed everybody was busy and the developers weren't there. Better I reopening this thread and post the error.
After I did the commands that you gave me, and after cleaning and debugging Gimp, after a while, it gave an error or failed to fetch and to install. Here's the errors:
DEBUG: Fetching distfile failed:: The requested URL returned error: 404 Error: org.macports.fetch for port texi2html returned: fetch failed DEBUG: Error code: NONE DEBUG: Backtrace: fetch failed while executing "portfetch::fetchfiles" (procedure "portfetch::fetch_main" line 17) invoked from within "$procedure $targetname" Warning: targets not executed for texi2html: org.macports.activate org.macports.fetch org.macports.checksum org.macports.extract org.macports.patch org.macports.configure org.macports.build org.macports.destroot org.macports.install Error: Failed to install texi2html DEBUG: could not read "/opt/local/share/man/man1/speexenc.1.gz": no such file or directory while executing "::file type $file" Please see the log file for port texi2html for details: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_textproc_texi2html/texi2html/main.log Error: The following dependencies were not installed: gimp-app gimp2 gegl ffmpeg texi2html x264 lensfun gccmakedep libopenraw boost icu libspiro lua openexr ilmbase gsed gimp-help-en coreutils gmp gawk pngcrush lcms libexif libgnomeui audiofile libbonoboui libgnome esound libgnomecanvas libmng libwmf webkit-gtk geoclue gst-plugins-base gstreamer mesa makedepend xorg-dri2proto xorg-glproto xorg-libXmu xorg-libXt xpm gimp-jp2 gimp-lqr-plugin liblqr gtk-nodoka-engine gutenprint icns-gimp ufraw cfitsio dcraw gtkimageview xsane sane-backends libusb-compat libusb net-snmp To report a bug, follow the instructions in the guide: http://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets Error: Processing of port gimp failed
