In the future please remember to cc the maintainer. Furthermore, there is no need to cc yourself if you are the ticket reporter. And please don't use arbitrary keywords (see DraftKeywordGuidelines).

hs-json probably needs to be updated to work with the new ghc 7.4 in macports. I'll have a look after #35813.

Yes problem is fixed for me. Thanks ! (Now the problem moved to hs-pandoc-types @1.8_0 to install pandoc... :-( )
