Description
Failed build of object-introspection. I have reviewed ticket Ticket #36702 (closed defect: fixed) gobject-introspection @1.32.1 build failure with no resolution for me after 12+ hours to allow rsync to synchronize. Same error. Errors occur with different compiler versions.

Do you have glib2
or glib2-devel
installed? What are the installed versions?

The attached log is incomplete; please clean, generate a complete one, and attach it. What version of Xcode are you using, and are your command line tools up to date?

I'm assuming this is fixed with the recent update of gobject-introspection
. Please re-open and provide the requested information if the problem persists for you.

I'm not the OP, but it still fails to build for me

In that case, please provide
- an md5 hash of $(port file gobject-introspection)
- the output of
port -v installed glib2
andport -v installed glib2-devel
- the
main.log
of a clean build attempt - your Xcode version
- the output of
clang --version
and re-open the ticket.

Actually after checking my error message I think I'll just open a new ticket for it instead of re-opening this one, as the message that I got is different from this one here
