Description
OS 10.6.8 Xcode - 3.6.8 Latest Macports and logrotate
everything installed perfect on a clean system. we have implement logrotate on a Linux system. but the truncate feature is not working in macports version on mac osx. it only truncates if the application is not currently writing to the log file. we cannot execute a SIGHUP, to kill the program because we want the program always running, just like on Linux.

Thanks. Looks like MacPorts logrotate behaves as expected so I'm closing this ticket as invalid.

In the future, please Cc the port maintainer(s) and do not change the Priority field - which is reserved for Macports maintainers' use only.
