Description
On a Mac running OSX 1.8.2 with XCode 4.5.2 and the command line tools installed, I attempted to install ncview 2.1.1. I had previously installed netCDF and ncview (version 1.9.3?) successfully, and came across the problem while upgrading my macports. NetCDF (a prerequisite) 4.2.1.1 installed with no problem, but ncview failed during configuration because it couldn't find the "right" compiler. The failing log is attached. Following the instructions provided in the log did not fix the problem.

The error message shown in your log was removed in r99347. Are you sure your ports tree is up to date? Please "sudo port clean ncview", then "sudo port selfupdate", then try again, and attach the new main.log if it fails again.

Did that, and now it works. I logged this problem last week before r99347 was posted on an older open ticket, and didn't see that a fix went in over the weekend. Thanks!
