Summary: | shogun @2.0.0 build failure → shogun @0.9.3 build failure |
The log you attached is not from a clean build attempt. Please "sudo port clean shogun", then try again, then attach the new main.log if it fails again.
Also, shogun 2.0.0 is not in MacPorts yet; see #33205. The log shows you're using 0.9.3 which is the latest version in MacPorts today.

I followed your advice and run sudo port clean shogun
on the terminal as suggested. Then installed "swig" with no issues at all, but failed to install "shogun" again. I am attaching the new main.log file.
Thanks.

Have you verified that the build succeeds on other OS versions, and on 10.8 if you build 32-bit? If not, tagging the ticket with mountainlion and LP64 is not warranted.
