I keep trying to install
sudo port install py27-matplotlib @1.1.0
and
sudo port install py27-pandas @0.7.3
the message i keep on getting is

I tried to run the self update and the "sudo port clean py27-tkinter and it still isn't working. I have attached the main.log.

Remember to use WikiFormatting. Please run "sudo port selfupdate" and then "sudo port clean py27-tkinter", then try what you were doing again, then attach the main.log to this ticket if it fails again.
Note that specifying a version number to "sudo port install" does nothing; you will always get whatever version is available in MacPorts, and not the one you request. At present, that's py27-matplotlib @1.2.0 and py27-pandas @0.9.1.
