Description
When trying to install py27-cairo with variant universal, I get the following error: Error: org.macports.configure for port py27-cairo returned: py-cairo is required, but not active.
This error is not present if I build it without the universal variant.

I get the same error when trying to install py32-cairo and py33-cairo from source.
$ sudo port install -vs py33-cairo ---> Computing dependencies for py33-cairo ---> Fetching distfiles for py33-cairo ---> Verifying checksum(s) for py33-cairo ---> Extracting py33-cairo ---> Applying patches to py33-cairo ---> Configuring py33-cairo Error: org.macports.configure for port py33-cairo returned: py-cairo is required, but not active. Please see the log file for port py33-cairo for details: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_python_py-cairo/py33-cairo/main.log To report a bug, follow the instructions in the guide: http://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets Error: Processing of port py33-cairo failed
I'm attaching py33-main.log
. If I do not specify -s
, port install
downloads binary archives and the installation succeeds.
