Summary: | Errors with updated version of TeXShop → texlive-bin: Errors running pdftex and simpdftex |
Version: | 2.1.2 |
pdfTeX and simpdftex are provided by texlive-bin
, not TeXShop
. Do you encounter problems running those tools standalone, from the command line?

Also, this has been reported before, in #27339. Try running fmtutil-sys
as mentioned there.

Can you attach one of the logs from the failed tasks, e.g. /opt/local/var/db/texmf/web2c/pdftex/pdflatex.log ?
