Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))
Referring to ticket #38015 I'm using a working version of openssl-1.0.1e which was created by removing no-asm from Portfile which allows the openssl test suite to run with 100% test passes.
David-Favor-iMac# ./ssh -V OpenSSH_6.1p1, OpenSSL 1.0.1e 11 Feb 2013

That message is from August 2012. If that patch is correct and needed, has there been any statement from the developers of openssh as to why they have not released a new version incorporating that patch?
Note: See

tickets.
Looks like http://lists.mindrot.org/pipermail/openssh-unix-dev/2012-August/030669.html might provide a patch to fix this.
