Description

Hi,

I would like to add Jurko's fork of suds to support suds on Python 3. (Original suds hosted on https://fedorahosted.org/suds seems to be no longer maintained and support for Python 3 is missing) I'm attaching the python/py-suds-jurko/Portfile.

thanks Patrik

No, it looks fine. I’ll take care of it.

Is there any reason this doesn’t have subports for Python 2.x?

No sorry that's my mistake. The reason for this port is to have suds support for Python3. This port have tested support for python 2.4/2.7 and 3.2. Should I update the files?

Yes, add subports for all supported Python versions. It’s preferable to treat this as a fork that happens to support Python 3 than as the “Python 3” version of suds, with py-suds being the “Python 2” version.

Committed in r106104, with some changes.

  • Used the bitbucket-1.0 portgroup, since the software seems to be hosted on Bitbucket.
  • Used the full version (i.e., “0.4.1.jurko.4”).
  • Used LGPL-3+ as the license, as specified in the source.
  • Added py2{4,5,6,7} and py31 subports.
Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
