fnlib @0.5 is nearly ten years old and no ports depend on it. I wonder if it's still needed at all anymore.
The description says it's needed for Enlightenment... if that's the case, then why do none of the Enlightenment ports depend on it?

I don't know but I would not be surprised if the development of enlightenment has progressed somewhat in the last 10 years and this software became unnecessary or renamed or integrated into another package.
