Trying to install hyper mail with MacPorts (command line tools and Xcode are installed) quits with the following massage:
---> Staging hypermail into destroot Error: org.macports.destroot for port hypermail returned: command execution failed Please see the log file for port hypermail for details: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_mail_hypermail/hypermail/main.log To report a bug, follow the instructions in the guide: http://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets Error: Processing of port hypermail failed
I put an attachment for the whole log entry.

Your log was incomplete. You should always clean and try again before reporting a bug so that we get a complete log. I've attached my complete log now.
