Committed in r104403. Adding a variant doesn’t change installed files for existing users, so it shouldn’t need a revbump.

make[4]: *** No rule to make target `/opt/local/lib/libtiff.3.dylib', needed by `molmol'.  Stop.

Isn't libtiff at version 4 now? Try adding the revbump back anyway just in case.

If it needed a rev bump, it would already be built and wouldn't be trying to build again. The problem is that molmol-build.diff hardcodes the tiff library version.
