In the future, please use WikiFormatting and fill in the Port field with the port that actually fails to build.

Per the log, you need to update your glib2 port first.

But glib2 is a dependency of gobject-introspection and should be automatically upgraded beforehand. Unless you're using the -n option, in which case, don't do that.

Anyway, if you wish to reopen, first selfupdate, clean and generate a complete log.

Yes, I was able to get things moving forward by updating glib2. But then something else failed, so I updated that, and then something else failed,.... I appear to be slowly rolling the boulder uphill.

So I'll keep working on that, but I agree with you, I don't understand why glib2 failed in the first place. It was a clean wine install fresh after a clean MacPorts install and update.
