Looks like a duplicate of #39177
#39177 doesn't appear to be having trouble downloading the files to build. The port is unusable as long as required files are 404ing. Did you look at my log?
[edit] Ah, nevermind, appears to pick up from another mirror. the -arch problem is indeed appearing in both.

#39177 doesn't appear to be having trouble downloading the files to build. The port is unusable as long as required files are 404ing. Did you look at my log?
There is no download problem. The 404s are produced during the archivefetch phase; this just means that we don’t have any binary archives for your particular selection of port+version+revision+variants+OS+architecture. If we don’t have a binary archive, MacPorts should proceed to fetch the source distribution, configure, and build. Which your log indicates is happening.
The subsequent failure is #39177.
