php-APC 3.1.13 does not compile with PHP 5.5.0. If you want php-APC for PHP 5.5, you'll have to bring this problem to the attention of the developers of php-APC, and they'll have to fix it, before we can bring that fix to MacPorts.

Meanwhile, consider trying php55-opcache.

I guess the developers of APC have abandoned it and it will never update it for PHP 5.5 or newer.

APC had two parts: an opcode cache, which can be replaced by the php-opcache port, and a data cache, which can be replaced by the php-APCu port.
