Description
as per Changeset 108817, the portfile for xz was upgraded today to refer to version 5.0.5.
unfortunately, no one bothered to check if the compressed tarball for xz v5.0.5 is actually located in the distribution directory for xz:
contents of distfiles.macports.org/xz contains up to version 5.0.4 only. all mirrors also contain no v5.0.5.
so, any package that depends on xz fails to install or upgrade (e.g., gtk2).
thanks,

portfile must be edited first, before upstream can be mirrored.
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
This is not a high-priority issue. Please do not set the Priority field in the future.
MacPorts attempts to fetch distfiles from upstream sources specified by the Portfile and from whichever MacPorts mirrors it knows about. Thus, it doesn’t matter whether the mirrors have the distfile because upstream will be tried at some point.
The distfile clearly exists upstream, so I don’t know what problem you’re seeing. Please clean, try again, and attach the complete main.log if you still encounter trouble.
