I'm not savvy enough to figure out why. All I can tell is nothing happens when I launch the app. The only log I can find is the system log message:
8/18/13 7:58:32.741 PM com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[131]: ([0x0-0x358358].org.gimp.GIMP[48722]) Exited with code: 1
