kerberos5 installs inferior ftp binary

Description
OS X comes with a very useful /usr/bin/ftp, which works much like wget does on Linux. Unfortunately the kerberos5 package installs a /opt/local/bin/ftp which is much less useful. I'd prefer it to not be there, at least with a variant option.

I think one of the last updates of the kerberos5
port did remove quite a number of no longer relevant utility binaries. The ftp
one might have been in this set, too.

Are you sure your
/opt/local/bin/ftp
is installed bykerberos5
? I cannot reproduce:What version of kerberos5 do you have? Which OS, which version of MacPorts? What does
port provides /opt/local/bin/ftp
print?
