Description
See http://www.garloff.de/kurt/linux/ddrescue/ for a list of versions. I'd verify with livecheck, but that's broken:
Local-Admins-MacBook-Pro:~ root# port -v livecheck dd_rescue Error: cannot check if dd_rescue was updated (The requested URL returned error: 406)
Also note that this is the version with the underscore in its name, not GNU ddrescue
. The port description might want to clarify the differences between the two. The webpage linked above has this to say about the differences between the two:
Meanwhile, the tool GNU ddrescue has been developed and supercedes some of dd_rescue's functionality for what it was originally designed for. It's still useful though for some special features, such as direct IO, sparse copies, safe deletion (with a fast userspace pseudo random number generator), splice copies, preallocation ...
(cc-ing Ionic because we were talking about this in IRC, and raimue, because he's the maintainer of the GNU ddrescue port, which this port might get confused with)
