I'm using a mac mini with 10.8.4 I had macorts installed from source and try to do port selfupdate but it failed:

jorges-mac-mini:~ JTPinto$ port -v selfupdate
--->  Updating MacPorts base sources using rsync
rsync: failed to connect to rsync.macports.org: Operation timed out (60)
rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at /SourceCache/rsync/rsync-42/rsync/clientserver.c(105) [receiver=2.6.9]

Looks like it timed out trying to contact our rsync server. Try again? Try from a different network?
