Description (last modified by mf2k (Frank Schima))
pytest has a hard dependency on py. After running
sudo port install py27-pytest
and running py.test, the following error is seen:
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/opt/local/bin/py.test-2.7", line 5, in <module> from pkg_resources import load_entry_point File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pkg_resources.py", line 2793, in <module> working_set.require(__requires__) File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pkg_resources.py", line 673, in require needed = self.resolve(parse_requirements(requirements)) File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pkg_resources.py", line 576, in resolve raise DistributionNotFound(req) pkg_resources.DistributionNotFound: py>=1.4.12
This can be solved by running sudo port install py27-py.
py27-py should be a dependency of py27-pytest.
