Mavericks breaks port downloading: /bin/gnutar not present (but /bin/tar is)

Description
Mavericks ships with no /bin/gnutar, which prevents unpacking modules. I worked around this by symlinking /bin/tar -> /bin/gnutar, and that worked OK. Setting ports to use /bin/gnutar if present, but fall back to /bin/tar if not, should be a quick fix

Please remove the symlink and then reinstall MacPorts by building it from source, which will correct the problem.
