- Thanks for the tip about the bitbucket-1.0 portgroup. I tried using that but it ended up being a few lines longer than this version because the bitbucket setup is a bit atypical.
- I removed the "extract.suffix".
- Actually no. I asked on the IRC channel on what to do because I want to participate in this port and I've had communication with the developer of the program. They told me to add myself if I wanted to help out and add patches.

I sent an e-mail to jameslpoter@… but gmail says it does not exist anymore:

What is the protocol for when a maintainer cannot be reached?
