Description
Since Mavericks now uses LLVM one must use subversion 1.7. The current port for tkdiff is version 4.1.4 which does not support svn 1.7. The latest version of tkdiff from sourceforge is 4.2 which does support subversion 1.7. Therefore, please update the tkdiff port to 4.2. In the mean time, the sourceforge download kit works fine on Mavericks (which is why I made this low priority). Thank you.

I updated the port to 4.2 in r113156.

Thanks much, I just tried a selfupdate then an uninstall/install tkdiff and noticed it indeed fetched 4.2 now. Works great.
Now that I think about it again, it wasn't that I was required to go to svn 1.7 but that it became the default after installing Xcode 5 command line tools. So rather than force it back to 1.6, I decided to push ahead and ran into the tkdiff issue.
Thanks again for the quick response. macports is the greatest.
Thanks for letting us know an update is available. We definitely want to update the port, especially if the current version has problems, like not being compatible with current versions of Subversion. I'll see what I can do.
However I want to point out that the use of LLVM in Mavericks is nothing new. Mountain Lion and Lion used LLVM-based compilers too. I'm also not sure what connection you're implying between LLVM and Subversion 1.7; as far as I know, no connection exists.
