Multiple install / clean and still getting Checksum error
Error: Checksum (md5) mismatch for XML-Parser-2.40.tar.gz Error: Checksum (sha1) mismatch for XML-Parser-2.40.tar.gz Error: Checksum (rmd160) mismatch for XML-Parser-2.40.tar.gz *** The non-matching file appears to be HTML. Well that embarrassing. I did read MisbehavingServers and promptly checked the wrong file.
It works fine now. Thanks.

Ok, did you determine why you received an HTML file? Was it a local issue with your network (e.g. captive portal) or was it that one of the mirrors listed for downloading this port's distfile has gone offline (and needs to be removed from the list)?

It was a local network issue, blocking one of the mirrors.
