Description
I read an article on packing C structs, and one of the comments pointed to the software pahole, located at http://git.kernel.org/cgit/devel/pahole/pahole.git . However, when I checked it out and tried to build it, it complained that I was missing ELF headers. This means that the code is currently not ported to Darwin/OS X/Mach-o. I would like to use this utility on my PlayerPRO re-write.

If it does not work on Darwin/OS X, then we cannot add it to MacPorts. We don't usually "port" software (i.e. rewrite software to make it work on OS X); rather, we take software that already works on OS X and package it so that it can be easily installed. So get the developers or someone else to port it to OS X first. Then we can add it to MacPorts.
