I'm aware that there are other outstanding issues at this time.
I had no issues building the +atlas variant under Mavericks.

Ok, this has been pushed as r116398. As I mentioned before, there might be other issues since this is a brand new approach. Feel free to open a ticket if anything else pops up.

It's a little more difficult than changing the version number as you can see here:

I'll be pushing this soon but will probably need a few iterations to iron out buildbot issues.
