Committed in r117001. I dropped the revision line, and I didn't add the notes. If you feel strongly that these notes should be added we can still do it, but usually we handle port replacement using the replaced_by
keyword, so once plaso is available we can mark log2timeline as replaced_by plaso
if that's appropriate.

Ok. Thanks Ryan.
From what I saw, replaced_by makes the upgrade mandatory which I feel is not, so better to leave choice to user but still remind the software is deprecated/unmaintained. Probably other tool in the tree like this which, I would suppose, don't say anything about been unmaintained by author. I think the note is a plus, but not necessary.
