Committed in r117732 with these changes:
- added standard modeline
- whitespace changes: aligned the columns of the Portfile
- added required variable
platforms
- removed
supported_archs noarch
because this software isn't noarch: it does install architecture-specific files. - corrected license: you indicated "GPL-2" but the homepage says LGPL, and although the distfile includes both GPL and LGPL license texts, the headers of all of the source files say LGPL. Some say 2 or later, some say 2.1 or later, making the license effectively 2.1 or later.
- added patch to fix "./configure: line 3840: test: too many arguments" which occurs if $CC has a space in it, which happens in MacPorts when the use of ccache is requested
