Description
The version of bzr-fastimport in MacPorts contains the upstream bug 541626. Updating to upstream version 0.13.0-4 or newer solves the issue (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/bzr-fastimport/+bug/541626). The bug makes it impossible for me to import a cvs export file from cvs2bzr. Could you please update brz-fastimport?

Updated with the patches to bzr-fastimport @0.13.0_1 in r117221. I hope that fixes your problem.

MacPorts currently provides version 0.13.0 of bzr-fastimport, which is the latest release. I think you are referring to the Ubuntu package 0.13.0-4 which seems to include a patch that fixes this particular issue.
MacPorts usually tracks the upstream packages, where bugs should actually be fixed. However, I've seen other bzr plugins where fixes where only incorporated into Debian/Ubuntu packages instead of the upstream source. Since this has not landed for a few months in bzr-fastimport now, and a new release does not seem to be imminent, I'll look into getting the patch out of the Debian/Ubuntu package and apply it to the MacPorts port as well.
