#43416 closed defect (invalid)

`gmp' install expects `gnutar' to reside in `/usr/bin'

Reported by: veedeehjay@… Owned by: macports-tickets@…
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 2.2.1
Keywords: Cc: MarcusCalhoun-Lopez (Marcus Calhoun-Lopez), openmaintainer@…
Port: gmp

Description

sudo port install gmp' fails under 10.9 since it looks for gnutar' in `/usr/bin'. I was only able to install the package after first putting a link to /opt/local/bin/gnutar in /usr/bin.

Oh, and also delete the /usr/bin/gnutar symlink you created. /usr/bin is Apple-land, please don't modify it.
