Description
I would like to request adding macports-clang-3.4
to the list of fallback compilers in portconfigure.tcl
. If I want to use macports-clang-3.4
on Lion, the only way to do it seems to be blacklisting version 3.3.
(See #43917.)

We should cherry pick r120637 as well.

Jeremy pointed out that this was already fixed in r118085 r118735 r119034.
But it's still outdated in branches/release_2_3/base/src/port1.0/portconfigure.tcl as well as in the tagged 2.3.0 (subsequently also on the buildbots and on almost everyone's machine except for a few developers).
Could the changes be merged with the branch at least?
