Summary: | mipsel-linux-binutils @2.16.1_3 staging error → mipsel-linux-binutils @2.16.1_3: @itemx must follow @item |
---|
The first error I see in the log is:
../.././gas/doc/as.texinfo:3637: @itemx must follow @item
This is a problem we've seen with other ports before (see e.g. #42138), and is caused by changes made in texinfo 5; mipsel-linux-binutils will need to be updated (or, if no update is available, patched) to accommodate these changes.

Their homepage is no longer valid - it doesn't appear the master_sites is either

Maybe mipsel-linux support was merged back into upstream binutils? I should check my binutils-gdb sources again...

See also #51935. I had problems upgrading this particular port.

See #56108 for my proposal to delete the port. If you have any objections and are willing to test etc., please speak now.

Closing this since the port was deleted.
I am using texinfo @5.2_0 on OS X 10.9.3. I can reproduce the error on OS X 10.7.5.
