Description

rtorrent will infinite loop if curl is not compiled with c-ares support as per this bug upstream. Please update the portfile so that it depends on curl being compiled with +ares.

That's a case for the active_variants PortGroup. See the comments in source:trunk/dports/_resources/port1.0/group/active_variants-1.1.tcl for usage information. You probably need

require_active_variants curl c_ares
