Description
According to the beyondgrep.com web page, there is a potential security issue with all version prior to 2.12. Can ack please be upgraded to 2.12? One can of course download ack 2.12 from the beyonegrep.com site but it would be much cleaner if macports can update its codebase for this progrm.

2.12 is the latest stable version. Updated the port to this version in r123593 along with other changes.

The Cc field requires complete real email addresses. openmaintainer is not a person and does not need to be Cc'd. You don't need to Cc yourself when you are the reporter. Remember to fill in the Port field. We also need to rename the port; see #37595.
