Description
I expect this will be found to be a duplicate of ticket:42320 from back in January. But since there is no log file, here is my bug report.
- 2.2GHz Intel Mac with 2Gb of RAM
- OSX @10.5.8
- Xcode @3.1.4
- py27-cython @0.20.2_0
Looking into the py-bottleneck google group, there was a case of an install taking ~30 minutes on a slightly newer Mac than my own. My immediate interest in having bottleneck installed is because it is a dependency of py-pandas.
Just to note: this is clearly not a port problem.

It does sound like it, yes. If you'd like it resolved, please work with the developer of the software.
