It seems that py34-pyavm is not available for py34-aplpy e.g.
> sudo port install py34-aplpy +avm+ds9+montage+rgb ---> Computing dependencies for py34-aplpy Error: Dependency 'py34-pyavm' not found.

Done in r126314. I also removed the deprecated subports py25 and py31. For the moment I left py32, because there is py32-aplpy
as a dependency.

BTW: Thomas, currently the port is not openmaintainer

The py34-pyavm port should be easy to add, since PyAVM 0.9.1 should work with Python 3.4 too. I won't have time to add this for a few days, but if someone else has a chance, please feel free to!
