r128190. The build system makes numerous bad assumptions which had to be corrected. I hope I got them all.

Thanks, I had tried to update this port to this version some time ago but did not finish it. I'll take a look at this. Note that portfiles for projects hosted at github should use the github portgroup; I already had this in my local modifications which I'll try to integrate with yours.
