Currently the PortIndex lists version 2.6.10, but the Portfile still has 2.6.8 and 'port upgrade gtk2' fails, eg. uninstalls and installs version 2.6.8.
For a workaround do the following 'cd /opt/local/var/db/dports/sources/rsync.rsync.opendarwin.org_dpupdate_dports' and run 'portindex -d' it will rebuild the PortIndex from the Portfiles installed on your system.
Afterwards 'port outdated' doesn't list gtk2 any more for upgrade, but only until the next 'port sync' / 'port selfudpate'.

I have corrected the PortIndex - sync again :-)
Patch for the update. Also fixes dependencies.
