It looks like fontforge is the only port that uses this - in the libuninameslist README it lists that the fontforge version should still work.
Typically for checksums we want rmd160/sha256 - easiest way is to remove the checksums lines in portfile and do a 'port -v extract' - it will list the lines to use.
