log says
408 :info:configure No package 'lttoolbox-3.1' found
I thought the portfile required lttoolbox?
I'm not sure how much more help I can be since I no longer have a mac to test with.
(I should get Someone Else to take over as maintainer, but haven't found the button here in macports – is the procedure just to get them to upload a new portfile?)

Also, 3.1 is massively out-of-date, there are ~no language pairs that work with it. You'd be better of using the SVN versions until someone steps up as apertium mac maintainer.

Replying to unhammer+dill@…:

Hi, I’ve been trying to install some dependencies that apparently are causing the error without success; I have : lttoolbox @3.2.0_0 pcre @8.36_0; libxml2 @2.9.2_1; but the last available version of ibxml in the ports repository is libxml @1.8.17_0.
I’ll better try SVN versions as you said.

Older apertium versions had a configure-bug where they required exact versions of lttoolbox instead of greater-or-equal, so that may be why. In any case, see http://wiki.apertium.org/wiki/Prerequisites_for_Mac_OS_X

An update for apertium was submitted in #48881; maybe it will solve the problem.

Current version is 3.4.0 and it built OK on 10.10.
In the future, please Cc the port maintainers (
port info --maintainers apertium
), if any.
